What is the hype around Mini Fraxel Laser Resurfacing treatments you may ask? Mini Fraxel is a non-ablative laser resurfacing treatment that targets both the superficial and deeper layers of the skin, providing you with a refreshed, renewed and beautiful skin from the inside out.

Mini Fraxel is indicated for elasticity, thickening and strengthening of the dermis. Fraxel is indicated for complexion blending, sunspots and strengthening the skin.

What can you expect on the day of your treatment?

  • You will begin with an in-depth consultation with your qualified Aesthetic Therapist, ensuring the best treatment plan going forward for your skin.
  • A numbing cream is then applied to the treatment area for 45 minutes. This is a good time to enjoy some tea or coffee, get lost in book or catch up on those emails!
  • Your therapist will then administer the treatment.
  • Most patients experience a few hours of mild swelling, redness and heat much like a sunburn. Generally, most skins return to normal in several hours although sensitive skins can experience redness and mild residual swelling for one to two days. Not to worry though, as this can easily be concealed by a medical concealer/foundation.
  • Duration of the treatment: 1 hour 45 minutes.

Immediately following the treatment your skin will feel slightly sunburned. Maximum results are seen 3 – 6 months post procedure as this is the period the collagen takes to remodel. You will however enjoy a velvety and smooth skin texture.
